Ingredients

For the Balls

  • 1.5 cups crushed Butterfinger candy bars
  • 1 cup peanut butter Rich, creamy peanut butter works best.
  • 2 cups powdered sugar Can adjust to taste for sweetness.

For Dipping

  • 1 cup red chocolate melts
  • 1 cup green chocolate melts

Instructions

Preparation

  • Combine the crushed Butterfinger candy bars, peanut butter, and powdered sugar in a large mixing bowl. Stir until well blended.
  • Roll the mixture into small balls, about an inch in size, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Refrigerate the balls for about 20 minutes to firm them up.

Chocolate Coating

  • Melt the red chocolate melts in a bowl either in the microwave or on the stovetop, stirring until glossy.
  • Melt the green chocolate melts in a separate bowl in the same manner.
  • Dip half of the chilled balls into the red chocolate using a fork for even coating. Let excess chocolate drip off.
  • Repeat the dipping process with the remaining balls in the green chocolate.
  • Allow the chocolate to set completely on the baking sheet.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container separated by parchment paper for up to a week. They taste better after flavors mingle overnight.
