Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning store-bought or homemade
  • 1 teaspoon paprika smoked or sweet
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme or parsley
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • to taste salt and black pepper
  • 1 fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, combine shrimp, olive oil, Cajun seasoning, paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Toss well to coat the shrimp evenly.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp in a single layer.
  • Cook for 2–3 minutes on each side until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Avoid overcooking.
  • Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the cooked shrimp and toss lightly.
  • Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
  • Pair with red beans and rice, dirty rice, roasted okra, or creamy coleslaw for a complete Cajun meal.
