  • 1 can (14 ounces) whole cranberry sauce
  • 1 container (8 ounces) whipped topping You can use low-fat for a lighter version.
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional) Pecans or walnuts can also be used.
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple (drained) Can be substituted with diced apples.
  • 1/2 cup sugar (optional, to taste)

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the cranberry sauce and sugar if using, mixing well.
    Bowls of cranberries, pineapple, sugar, cream cheese, cream, and marshmallows on marble.
  • Fold in the whipped topping until well combined.
  • Gently mix in the miniature marshmallows, chopped nuts (if using), and crushed pineapple.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers covered tightly in plastic wrap or in a sealed container in the refrigerator. It will keep well for several days, and flavors may improve overnight. Serve cold.
